UltraFire WF-501B – Review

I am very impressed with this UltraFire WF-501B tactical flashlight. It’s made of an aerospace grade aluminum alloy with an anti-pressure and anti-fall durability design. It has a very solid but lightweight feel. The manufacturer website states it is waterproof but the IP rating is IP65 so water resistant would likely be more accurate. It cannot be submerged but the rubber O-rings do seem quite durable. It has not had any issues in the rain with me. My favorite feature of this light is that it only has ONE MODE with a tactical style tail cap switch. It’s either on or off, no need to click through 4 different setting to get to what you want. At 1000 lumen this light is extremely bright with a beam reach of around 300 yards.
