I purchased this to go with my inexpensive IR goggles. This triples the distance that I can clearly see without washing out the picture. My friend purchased an IR goggle and paid over $1200.00 and it was on sale. I spent less than $300.00 and mine is better!!! This is what I paired this item with,

It washed out the image in my Sightmark Wraith inside 50 yds.
Strong light and will take some finesse to keep it from washing out the view. But the range is fantastic. Very hard to see the light with the naked eye
I used this for my gen 1 nvg and it’s pretty good for a cheap ir light. It’s also pretty good when it comes to illuminate darker areas I can see a very good amount and the light reaches a decent distance too.
Essential for security patrols. The infrared zoom feature makes it easy to detect intruders from afar without alerting them.
